
Andrea Alicea D.D.S., M.S.
Dr. Andrea Alicea was born in Kansas City, Missouri, but raised in South Florida. She is of Colombian descent and is fluent in English as well as Spanish.
She completed undergrad at the University of Miami on an academic scholarship and participated in a study abroad program at the Universidad Santiago de Compostela in Santiago de Compostela, Spain.
She then attended dental school at the University of Southern California on a 4-year Health Professional Scholarship Program with the US Army. She was a member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. Upon graduation from dental school, she was commissioned into the US Army.
In her military career, she completed a 1-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry program. She then was selected for and completed residency at the Tri-Service Orthodontics Program and earned her certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics as well as a master’s degree in Oral Biology. She then went on to be the chief of orthodontics in South Korea for 2 years, and in Bavaria, Germany for 3 years.
Dr. Alicea is board certified by the American Board of Orthodontics and hones her skills on current orthodontic treatment through continuing education. Dr. Alicea was deeply committed to serving our nation’s Soldiers for over 15 years and is enthusiastic about serving her new Ogden community.
In her free time, Dr. Alicea enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons and coaching and playing soccer in her community.
